Embrace Announces Two New Board Members
On October 10, 2011, Embrace Northern Colorado welcomed two new Board members. Kathi Wright and Kathy Gilliland became the newest members of a group of renown civic leaders (past and present) who are dedicated to creating a great future for Northern Colorado through preserving and enhancing the our quality of life by bringing leaders together to address the region's challenges and opportunities.
Kathy Gilliland

Kathy brings a wealth of experience to the Board. She has 30 years of professional experience with Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. She was the Director of the Northern Colorado Workforce Initiative. Kathy currently runs two businesses: Diamond Valley Alpaca Ranch and DK Innovative Solutions.
In addition, Kathy formerly served for ten years on the Loveland City Council, six years as Loveland’s Mayor. Kathy currently serves as the Colorado Transportation Commissioner for District 5.

Kathi Wright

Kathi Wright is an inspirational leader in Northern Colorado on issues involving our youth. She has worked for Kodak, Poudre Valley Hospital, Duke Publishing, Miniscribe, and the City of Loveland. Kathi is currently the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County.
Kathi was awarded the 2003 Executive of the Year for the SW Region, the Team Fort Collins Key Leader of the Year for 2008, the Colorado Lions Foundation Humanitarian Award for 2009, and served as the Grand Marshall of Loveland’s Corn Roast Parade in 2009.
